Bamboo In The Wind                                 Poems: Bonsho Bell

Bonsho Bell

Cast of bronze in Japan

Hanging in a wooden shelter

Gazing down the valley

Three legged horse

You speak to me, "Ring the bell laying

Over the striker. Hold the cord."

I see your ancient face in the dawn light

Bonsho Bell

Now silver threads border its length.

Bonsho the giver

Val the receiver

Bong, the gift
